MANILA, Philippines鈥擳here is no more need for a Bar examinee to take another antigen test for day two of the 2020/21 Bar examination even if one has developed symptoms similar to COVID-19 like cough and/or cold.
Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen, chairman of the 2020/21 Bar Exam Committee, said the first antigen test that the examinee took before February 4 or day one of the examinations remains valid.
鈥淜aya namin dinikit yung dalawang araw para isa lang ang antigen test. So, it is only 48 hours before the first exam [The reason why we scheduled the examination just a day apart so that we will only need one antigen test.],鈥� Leonen said at a press conference.
If the examinee developed symptoms similar to COVID-19, he said 鈥渨e give all accommodations.
He said the examinee will still be allowed to continue taking the examination but will be brought to an isolation area in the Bar premises.
Leonen said they will be assessing the first day of the examination to see if areas still needed improvement.
鈥淏ut so far, I am personally so very satisfied and so very proud of the team and the various Bar personnel that we have recruited or volunteered,鈥� he said.
For now, Leonen said he cannot categorically say when the examination results will be released.
鈥淲hat I can tell you now is at the soonest possible time given the advances of technology that we have,鈥� he added.
