More Pfizer vaccine doses for minors aged 5-11 arrive in PH
MANILA, Philippines — The country received on Thursday 780,000 more Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses for minors aged five to 11.
The National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 said that the vaccines were carried by Air Hong Kong flight LD456 which landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 around 9 p.m.
The anti-COVID shots were purchased through a loan from the World Bank.
The NTF noted that the delivery is the second batch of reformulated Pfizer vaccine doses for the said age group.
The first batch, which is likewise composed of 780,000 doses, came last Friday.

To date, only Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine was granted an emergency use authorization for the said age group.
