Antipolo City drug bust: Man arrested, P750,000 worth of ‘kush’ seized
LUCENA CITY — Police nabbed a suspected big-time supplier of high-grade marijuana leaves or “kush” in a buy-bust operation in Antipolo City on Thursday, February 24.
Col. Dominic Baccay, Rizal police director, said the suspect, Jotello Robleza, 24, resident of Lores Country Homes in Barangay San Roque was collared by anti-illegal drugs operatives after he sold P1,000 worth of “kush” to a poseur buyer in the said village around 5 a.m.
Authorities then seized 44 plastic sachets of dried marijuana leaves weighing 500 grams and worth P750,000 in the street market.
Robleza has been tagged as the main supplier of kush in the village which was identified as a place with rampant illegal drug activities.
Police are conducting further investigation to determine the source of the high-grade marijuana.
