On the second day of his three-day tour of Bicol, the Aksyon Demokratiko standard-bearer tried to play up his personal connection to Bicolandia, pointing out that his wife, businesswoman Diana Lynn Ditan, hailed from Sorsogon, and thus making him 鈥渁lmost a Bicolano.鈥�
鈥淵ou can adopt me already,鈥� the 47-year-old former actor said at a packed stadium, where his supporters assembled after a heavy downpour forced them to relocate from an open-air park fronting the provincial capitol.
鈥淲e need to multiply if we want to become victorious. We need to become a million-strong because it鈥檚 our future we are talking about,鈥� he said.
