MANILA, Philippines — Partido Laban ng Masa presidential candidate Leody de Guzman remained unperturbed by the recent survey showing him in 7th place out of the 10 candidates, saying he was confident voters would ultimately pick him on Election Day.

“My confidence in the Filipino people remains. They will side with the candidate who can present solutions to the problems they are experiencing, especially now with the uncontrollable increase of fuel prices, followed by basic commodities …. Only a laborer-candidate can present concrete solutions to these,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.
