LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte鈥擳his province recorded Tuesday zero COVID-19 cases.
Data from the provincial government showed that at least six of its towns 鈥擜dams, Burgos, Dumalneg, Nueva Era, Marcos, and Paoay鈥攚ere COVID-19-free.
The province has 125 active cases, representing 0.02 percent of the province鈥檚 population, the local government said.
At least three were admitted to hospital facilities, of which one was asymptomatic or mild, while the other two were moderate cases.
All COVID-19 indicators鈥揵ed occupancy rate, oxygen equipment, and drug consumption rate鈥搘ere within the safe level, the same data showed.
Since the pandemic struck, the province has logged at least 24,828 COVID-19 cases.
