Rep. Ruffy Biazon wins Muntinlupa City mayoral race

MANILA, Philippines — Muntinlupa City Representative Ruffy Biazon has been elected as the city’s mayor.

He was proclaimed by the Commission on Elections as the local chief executive after getting 180,742 votes.

Meanwhile, Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac was reelected after receiving 131,882 votes.

Incumbent Mayor Jaime Fresnedi secured a seat in Congress with 183,085 votes.

As of Tuesday, 10:47 a.m., all 432 clustered precincts in Muntinlupa have transmitted their election returns.
