Police nab third most wanted person in Central Visayas

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of the third most wanted person in Central Visayas during a manhunt operation in Mandaue City, Cebu.

According to Police Lieutenant General Vicente Danao Jr., the suspect was nabbed by authorities on Monday, May 30 at around 3:45 p.m.

The 48-year-old suspect, Allan Nacorda Gemongala Sr., faces kidnapping charges with no recommended bail.

Danao further detailed that the warrant of arrest used against the suspect dates back to June 2014.

Gemongala Sr. is currently under the custody of Police Station 10 in Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.
