TAGBILARAN CITY鈥擜 former Bohol provincial board member and administrator has challenged a critic to a boxing match to end their feud.
Ae Damalerio last Saturday publicly announced his intent for him and businessman Willy Ramasola to square it up inside the boxing ring.
鈥淢r. Willy Ramasola, sumbagay lang ta or boxing. Ikaw pili sa lugar ug time. Open ang lugar for public viewing arun bibo, with referee or wala,鈥 said Damalerio in a Facebook post.
(Mr. Willy Ramasola, let鈥檚 fist-fight or box. You choose the place and time. The area is open for public viewing so that it will be lively with or without a referee).
鈥淜usog ug isog man ka mangdaut, mang bully, mang intimidate or mang intriga sa Facebook. If your intention of maligning people is political, humana ang election. Otherwise, it鈥檚 something personal,鈥 he added.
(You鈥檙e brave in destroying, bullying, and intimidating people on Facebook. If your intention of maligning people is political, then let me remind you that the election is over. Otherwise, it鈥檚 something personal).
After learning about Damalerio鈥檚 challenge, Ramasola wasted no time and announced on Facebook his response.
鈥淏ai (Pal), talk to my manager. Bring it on,鈥 Ramasola said.
Netizens were quick to share and post the statements of Damalerio and Ramasola.
The dispute between the two men started when Ramasola, a known critic of former Gov. Art Yap, posted photos of Damalerio harvesting vegetables on the farm.
Ramasola captioned the photo, saying 鈥淭he seeds bought by the capitol did not grow. However, the farms of the former officials of the province have flourished.鈥
In another Facebook post, Ramasola said Damalerio鈥檚 anger was nothing compared to the anger of Boholanos over alleged irregularities in the provincial government.
Damalerio served as a board member of Bohol from 2007 to 2010. He was provincial administrator of former governor and incumbent Rep. Edgar Chatto of Bohol鈥檚 first district from 2010 to 2019.
