14 drug suspects busted in Cavite, Rizal, Quezon
LUCENA CITY – Fourteen drug suspects were arrested and more than P1,725,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) were confiscated in buy-bust operations in Rizal, Cavite and Quezon provinces on Saturday and Sunday.
The Police Regional Office 4-A, in a report Sunday, said members of Rizal drug enforcement unit nabbed Mukarsa Majindie, a high-value target in the local drug war, and his cohorts, Juhar Jailani, Randy Serrano, Maria Iya Aldana, Robert John Baradi and Jerome Lim at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday in Barangay (village) San Jose in Rodriguez town.
The group yielded 20 plastic sachets of shabu weighing 170 grams worth an estimated P1,156,000.
In Antipolo City, the local police and operatives collared Danilo Santos, Dexter Santos and Eric Geronimo in Barangay Dela Paz around 5:22 p.m. on Saturday.
The suspects were found in possession of 15 grams of shabu worht an estimated P103,000.
Article continues after this advertisementMeanwhile, PDEA agents in Cavite busted Bryan Tibayan, Rolan Cuevas and Leslie Monica in Barangay Medicion 1-C in Imus City around 11:45 p.m. also on Saturday.

In Quezon province, Police Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested Melchor Gutierrez in a sting operation in Barangay San Agustin in Tiaong town around 8:20 p.m.
The suspect was found carrying five sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P268,000.
In Guinayangan town, police armed with a search warrant swooped down on the residence of Arturo Nuqui in Barangay Aloneros around 6:30 p.m.
The raiders found four sachets of shabu with a street value of P61,200.
The Quezon police tagged Gutierrez and Nuqui as identified drug pushers in their respective localities.
All suspects are under police custody and are facing a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
