LUCENA CITY—Police arrested on Monday an alleged big-time illegal drug trafficker in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province and seized P680,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth).

Anti-narcotics agents collared around 6:30 p.m. Jamal Landua after he sold shabu to an undercover cop acting as a drug user in Barangay Datu Esmael, the Region 4-A police reported on Tuesday, August 16.

Authorities confiscated 100 grams of meth with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P680,000.

The police are tracking down the source of illegal drugs peddled by the suspect.

Landua is under police custody and is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
