MANILA, Philippines — Portions of Ninoy Aquino Avenue will be closed to traffic from August 19 to August 22, due to the construction of the (LRT-1), the announced on Thursday.
According to the DOTr advisory, both southbound and northbound lanes near the Imelda Bridge along Ninoy Aquino Avenue — which links Pasay City and Parañaque City, will be temporarily closed to traffic from 6 p.m. on Friday, August 19, until 5 a.m. on Monday, August 22.
ÌýThe DOTr advised affected motorists to take the following alternate routes:

- Right turn to Old Sucat Rd. (Front of SM Sucat ) C5 Extension Rd.Ìý MultinationalÌý Ninoy Aquino Ave. (Duty Free)
- Left Turn to Kabihasnan (Victor Medina St.)Ìý Quirino Ave. or Cavitex Coastal Rd.
ÌýSouthbound:
- Left turn to Multinational C5 Extension Rd.Ìý AMVELÌý Ninoy Aquino Ave. (Airforce One/PCP Station 3)
