DOH COVID-19 tracker: 3,748 new cases

DOH Covid-19 tracker: 3,748 new COVID-19 cases

MANILA, Philippines — The country has reported 3,748 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the caseload to 3,848,449, the Department of Health (DOH) COVID-19 tracker reported on Friday.

Out of the total caseload, 37,225 are active cases or 0.98 percent.

Around 97 percent of the total number of coronavirus infections have survived at 3,707,461.

There were also 61,261 reported mortalities, accounting for 1.61 percent of all infections. DOH said COVID-19 has killed more people daily for the months of July and August and 67 percent of those fatalities were unvaccinated.
