UP opens freshman application for AY 2023-2024

MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines (UP) on Friday opened its first-year application for Academic Year 2023-2024.

A Facebook post from UPCAT – U.P. System announced the official start of the application process.

Still, without the traditional pen-and-paper entrance exam, the university will use the UP College Admissions (UPCA), an admission score model, to assess the student applicants.

FEATURED STORIES

Except in a few specific regions, all applicants must complete and submit their UPCA forms, which include personal data sheets and high school records, online using the university’s online admissions site, along with photos and electronic signatures.

The deadline for submission of requirements will be on October 15, 2022.

The university will also launch its online helpdesk starting Monday, September 19, via the UPCAT – U.P. System Facebook page.

The online helpdesk will be open from Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
