Camarines Sur guv orders forced evacuation, class suspensions due to Karding
LEGAZPI CITY — Camarines Sur Governor Vincenzo Renato Luigi Villafuerte ordered a forced evacuation and the suspension of classes in anticipation of heavy rain brought by Super Typhoon Karding (international name: Noru).

In a memorandum issued Sunday afternoon (Sept. 25), Villafuerte said all local officials were directed to evacuate residents of flood and landslide-prone areas.
He said response agencies were also advised to assist the local government units in the evacuation of residents and to enforce the minimum health standards in relation to COVID-19.
In a separate memorandum, Villafuerte also suspended classes in all levels in public and private schools.
As of 2 p.m., Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 was hoisted over the Northern portion of Camarines Sur (Del Gallego, Ragay, Lupi, Sipocot, Libmanan, Pamplona, Pasacao, San Fernando, Pili, Minalabac, Ocampo, Tigaon, Cabusao, Magarao, Gainza, Canaman, Camaligan, Milaor, Bombon, Calabanga, Tinambac, Siruma, Goa, Lagonoy, San Jose, Garchitorena, Presentacion, Caramoan and Sagñay) while the rest of Camarines Sur (Baao, Balatan, Bato, Bula, Buhi, Iriga City, and Nabua) were under Signal No. 1.
