Bongbong Marcos in first 100 days in office: ‘Friend to all, enemy to none’

MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) on Saturday said President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was a “friend to all, enemy to none” in his first 100 days in office.

The OPS noted that in his visit to the United States, Marcos was also able to meet other heads of state and top executives of the US business community. These meetings resulted in $3.9 billion in investment pledges which are expected to generate 112,285 jobs.

The President also met Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan; Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore; Indonesian President Joko Widodo; President Emmanuel Macron of France; Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, and other international state officials.

Marcos also visited Singapore to watch the F1 Grand Prix, a visit which the President called “productive,” noting that the event is the “the best way to drum up business” instead of playing golf.
