Active COVID-19 cases in Olongapo swell to 53

OLONGAPO CITY — Twenty-six new COVID-19 cases were added to the local tally in the last two days as the city continues to experience an upward trend in infections.

The new COVID-19 cases were registered between October 8 and 9, raising the total number of active infections to 53.

On October 8 alone, the city posted 24 additional cases, its highest single day tally in recent weeks.
