Over P376,000 鈥榮habu鈥� seized in Bicol buy-busts

LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities arrested a high-value drug personality and another drug suspect and recovered more than P376,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during separate buy-bust operations Wednesday night in Masbate and Camarines Sur provinces.A

Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson for the Bicol police, reported that they arrested at 6:54 p.m. Elmer Villamor, 33, at Barangay Tabuc in Mobo town in Masbate.

Identified as a high-value individual, Villamor is on the illegal drug watch list in Bicol.

Confiscated during the operation were eight sachets of shabu weighing 55 grams worth P374,000.

In Baao town in Camarines Sur, Ericson Borromeo, an alleged street-level peddler, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. in Barangay Sagrada.

Three sachets of shabu worth P2,040 were confiscated from the suspect.
