LUCENA CITY – A tricycle passenger was killed and six others were injured after their vehicle was hit by a car in Antipolo City in Rizal province on Tuesday, November 15.

The Region 4A police reported Wednesday, November 16, that Jobert Labao was driving his tricycle with six passengers ahead an Isuzu Highlander along the national road in Barangay (village) Sta. Cruz around 11:50 a.m. when the car, driven by Juanito Bulseco, hit the tricycle.

With the strong impact of the collision, the tricycle turned upside down. Labao and all his passengers suffered injuries and were taken to Antipolo District Hospital.

One of the passengers, Jehazel Embang, died on the way.

According to the police report, the Isuzu Highlander lost its brake, causing the collision.
