P400,000 ‘shabu’ seized from two suspects in Camarines Norte
LEGAZPI CITY — Police have arrested two suspected drug traders and recovered more than P400,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in the province of Camarines Norte.
In a report, Lt. Col. Arnel de Jesus, chief of Daet police, said the suspect, who was identified only as “Ning,” 32, a miner, was arrested in Barangay (village) Magang at 1:12 a.m. on Friday.
Authorities recovered five grams of shabu from the suspect, who has been tagged as a “newly identified drug personality” in the said area.
In Paracale town, Rojie Guevarra, 20, was also arrested in Barangay South Poblacion at 11:40 p.m. on Thursday.
In a belated report, Lt. Col. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson for the Bicol police, said Guevarra was tagged as a high-value individual involved in the illegal drug trade in the province.
