MANILA, Philippines — The country’s air traffic management system has been partially resolved, according to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), which means limited flight operations will be allowed.

In a statement on Sunday afternoon, MIAA said they and the Airline Operators Council (AOC) “are working on a recovery schedule of flights” which were canceled due to the technical issues faced by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) system.

The glitch, which affected the entire Philippines is a developing situation that is continuously being monitored by MIAA and the AOC, MIAA said.

As of 4:00 p.m., however, 282 domestic and international flights were either delayed, cancelled, or diverted to other airports.
