OLONGAPO CITY鈥揂t least P1 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated in the police鈥檚 regionwide weeklong operations, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said Tuesday, Jan. 24.
In a report, the PRO3 said 132 people were arrested during a series of anti-narcotics operations in Central Luzon from Jan. 15 to 21.
Data showed that most of the seized contraband was 鈥渟habu鈥� or crystal meth.
During the same period, 124 most wanted persons in the region were also arrested during the police鈥檚 intensified manhunt operations, the PRO3 said.
Six more were collared for illegal possession of firearms, while 83 others were apprehended for illegal gambling.
Police also recovered P107,468 in bet money during their crackdown on illegal gambling in the same period. INQ
