Nearly 12,000 repatriated OFWs get Tesda training in 2022

Almost 12,000 repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) have acquired training under the  Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) programs, the agency said on Monday.

MANILA, Philippines — Almost 12,000 repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) have acquired training under the  Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) programs, the agency said on Monday.

Tesda said that 11,935 repatriated OFWs were “upskilled” and “reskilled” for 2022.

Most of these OFWs enrolled in the top courses such as “Practicing COVID-19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace,” “Introduction to Caregiving,” and “Providing Housekeeping Services.”
