FDA warns vs unauthorized use of logos

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cautioned the public against buying certain cough syrup products from Indonesia found by the World Health Organization (WHO) as 鈥渟ubstandard,鈥 a month after the regulatory agency also warned of India-made cough syrups.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned unscrupulous sellers against the unauthorized use of its logo as well as that of its parent agency, the Department of Health (DOH), to sell bogus health products on social media platforms.

In a March 14 advisory, the FDA said it was alerted to online posts about 鈥減ublic health recommendations鈥 that claimed that certain health products were backed by the FDA or DOH. 鈥擪athleen de Villa
