Police are now hunting the leader of a Taiwanese crime syndicate after a large cache of firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition were seized during a raid on his condominium unit in Makati City on Monday night. Jiang Zhang Xiadong, also known as 鈥淟iu Ming Chung,鈥� was not present during the raid by agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in a commercial area in Barangay Poblacion. Confiscated were 13 rifles, seven submachine guns, 65 hand guns and boxes of ammunition.
