4 drug suspects nabbed, over P58,000 ‘shabu’ seized in Naga City

P29,000 ‘shabu’ seized from 3 suspects in Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities arrested four suspected drug traders and recovered more than P58,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations Thursday, April 20, in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

In Barangay Calauag, Jessie Enon, 37; Mark Ivan Remoquillo, 27; and Mark Joseph Morata, 27, were arrested at 9:43 p.m. for selling a sachet of shabu worth P1,000 to an undercover agent.

Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Remoquillo was in the illegal drugs watch list in the Bicol region.

Recovered were 6.5 grams of shabu worth P18,000.

In Barangay Sabang, Domingo Dinedo, 42, also arrested for reportedly selling a sachet of shabu worth P2,500.

Bongon said P40,800 worth of shabu was confiscated from Dinedo.

The suspects were charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
