Marcos pushes bivalent COVID-19 shots
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday called on Filipinos to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as their way of protecting the vulnerable sector and their way of honoring individuals who have worked hard so that the world could return to a state of normalcy.
Speaking at the ’s program for the rollout of the bivalent COVID-19 vaccination at the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City, the president thanked the government of Lithuania and the World Health Organization for the 391,860 doses of the Comirnaty Pfizer-BioNtech-adapted bivalent vaccines received on June 3.
