MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said it is “not convinced” that the highly-anticipated “Barbie” film has depicted China’s nine-dash line.

DFA, in a statement on Wednesday, thanked the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) for the “joint screening” of the movie Barbie to “ascertain if the depiction of the imaginary world map is inimical to the national interest.”
