Worker in drainage project dies during landslide in Northern Samar

ORMOC CITY — A laborer who was working for a water drainage system was killed during a sudden landslide in Barangay Cahicsan, Mondragon town, Northern Samar on Saturday, August 19.
The victim was identified as Jerry Sagonoy Marino, 49.

Initial investigation showed that the victim was digging for the drainage project in the village when a heavy landslide suddenly occurred.
