Based on Wang’s account, she was kidnapped and brought by seven Chinese men to a house along Victoneta North, Barangay Potrero. Of the seven kidnappers, NCRPO said operatives identified and collared suspects Zheng Xi Lin, 34, and Ma Pun Xin, 36, at the exact location.

Zheng and Ma’s arrest stemmed from a tip from another Taiwanese national who was contacted by the victim for help.

Police said Wang was about to meet a friend in Malate, Manila, on August 14 when she was abducted by the Chinese men onboard a private vehicle.

The victim claimed she was raped twice by the suspects’ leader, Eric Liu, on August 18. She was also forced to transfer thousands of US dollars to the suspect’s account in a series of transactions: $71,428 (P4,010,825); $21,805 (P1,224,394); $20,000 (P1,123,040); $1,000 (P56,152); and $10,000 (P561,520).

NCRPO said the arrested suspects are currently under police custody.
