Magnitude 6.3 quake hits Cagayan, intensities felt in northern Luzon

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 6.3 tectonic earthquake rocked Cagayan on Tuesday evening, the state seismologists reported.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthqake struck at 7:03 p.m. and its epicenter was located west of Dalupiri Island in Cagayan.
