MANILA, Philippines — A total of P96 million from different hospitality entities was earmarked for the Aeta Family Care Centers Project, the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) said on Tuesday.
According to the CDC, Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. (BCFI), Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. (BRHI), and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) supported this two-phased sustainable project for the Aetas in Clark. It aims to benefit the indigenous people communities within the freeport.
The first phase of the project was the construction of five Family Care Centers that cost P46 million.
The construction started in 2020, and its last center was completed this month, according to CDC’s President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera.

She said the centers are built in Marcos Village and Sitio Calapi in Mabalacat, Pampanga, and in San Vicente, Sto. Nino and Burog in Bamban, Tarlac.
The second phase, on the other hand, was a P50 million worth of a 3-year program of daily feedings, agri-related livelihood, health, sanitation, and water facilities for the indigenous people in the freeport and in the Metro Clark area.
Atty. Devanadera said that this program runs from 2023 to 2026.
Meanwhile, she also commended BCFI, BRHI, and Pagcor during the Inside Asian Gaming Academy Summit held at Hilton Manila, Newport World Resorts in Pasay City on September 14, a press release from CDC said.
