In an advisory dated Oct. 2, the FDA identified the product batch as those with an expiry date of April 16, 2024.

Alaska Milk initiated to pull its product with batch code 鈥16APRL2024 P1鈥 from store shelves after the company received complaints of coagulation, or curdling, of the evaporated milk from the said batch.

鈥淩esults of investigation by [Alaska] show that the coagulation was caused by compromised packaging integrity of the cans,鈥 the company said.
