LIST: Three holidays on week when October ends, November starts
MANILA, Philippines — The public will enjoy three non-working holidays — all in one week — from the end of October until early November.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. earlier declared the day of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) a special non-working day on Oct. 30.
Two other previously declared holidays will also land after the BSKE, which are All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on November 1 and 2, respectively.
With this, the following special non-working holidays all land in one week:
- October 30 – BSKE (Monday)
- November 1 – All Saints’ Day (Wednesday)
- November 2 – All Souls’ Day (Thursday)
Meanwhile, there is no advisory from the Palace yet if October 31 (Tuesday) and November 3 (Friday) would also be declared non-working holidays.
“No advice yet,” Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil told ºÚÁÏÉç.
