President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. arrived here on Wednesday morning (Philippine time) for his weeklong trip to the United States to attend the 2023 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) Leaders’ Summit, including working visits to Los Angeles and Hawaii.

It was 18°C here as flight PR001, carrying Marcos and the Philippine delegation, arrived at the San Francisco International Airport at 9:05 a.m. (Philippine time).

“All cases filed against me have been dismissed,” newly appointed Maharlika Investment Corp. (MIC) President and CEO Rafael D. Consing Jr. said on Tuesday.

That was his brief answer when asked by reporters about his being a respondent in a fraud case.

Senator Bong Revilla on Wednesday said there’s no truth to reports circulating that he was apprehended using the Edsa carousel busway.

Revilla, in a statement, branded the report as “malicious.”
