DOH: 1,218 COVID-19 cases logged from Nov. 21-27
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 1,218 COVID-19 infections were recorded from November 21 to 27, said the Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday.
Based on the DOH’s latest weekly tally, the total infections translated to a daily average of 174, only 1 percent higher than the previous week’s daily average of 173, totaling 1,210 infections.
Eleven of the new infections were tagged as critical or severe, with a total of such admissions currently at 216.
On the other hand, 11 additional deaths were added to the country’s COVID-19 death toll, all of which were recorded in the previous two weeks.
Meanwhile, utilization of ICU beds rose from 10.1 to 11.4 percent, while non-ICU bed utilization increased from 16.1 to 17.7 percent.
