No classes in some areas in Mindanao after magnitude聽7.4聽quake

MANILA, Philippines – Several municipalities in Mindanao have suspended classes on Monday, December 4, following the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that shook many provinces on Saturday.
To allow building safety inspections in the aftermath of the temblor, classes are suspended in the following areas:
Classes in all levels (public and private schools)

Work in government offices is also suspended in Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur.
Meanwhile, Davao city and Sultan Kudarat put in place work-from-home arrangements in government offices within their provinces.

Data from Department of Social Welfare and Development showed over 236,000 individuals have been affected by the earthquake across 156 barangays in Caraga region.
