The 2023 Bar exam result is out and 3,812, or 36.77 percent, of the 10,387 examinees passed, the Supreme Court (SC) announced Tuesday.

The third digitalized examination was conducted on September 17, 20, and 24, 2022. The 2023 Bar test returned to the September schedule after 13 years.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 struck near Lubang, Occidental Mindoro, jolting  a large swath of Luzon at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday,  according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

The earthquake’s epicenter was located at approximately seven kilometers south-southeast of Lubang. The tremor had a depth of focus of 79 kilometers, indicating a tectonic origin.

The Intellectual Property Office (IPOPhl) has dismissed the trademark registration of Television and Production Exponents, Inc., or TAPE, Inc., for the names “” and “EB.”
