MANILA, Philippines — Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista on Thursday stressed that the deadline for the consolidation of public utility vehicles (PUV) stays.

In a brief statement, Bautista thanked operators and drivers who embraced the PUV modernization program.

“The PUV consolidation deadline stays. This initiative has gained the support of majority of our PUV operators as around 70 percent of them have already taken part in the consolidation process,” said Bautista.
