Catanduanes towns suspend classes due to heavy rains

LEGAZPI CITY — Several towns in Catanduanes province suspended classes on Monday due to heavy rainfall brought by a shear line.

As of 8:30 a.m., classes at all levels in private and public schools were suspended in the towns of Bagamanoc, Baras, Bato, Gigmoto, Pandan, and San Miguel, according to the Catanduanes Information Office.

Elementary and secondary classes were also suspended in Panganiban and Viga towns.
