Pagasa: Cloudy Tuesday with possible rain showers
MANILA, Philippines – Overcast skies and rain will prevail in many parts of the country on Tuesday due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan,” as well as the shear line, according to the
“Sa Luzon area inaasahan ang patuloy ang pag iral ng amihan, dito sa silangang bahagi ng Northern at Central Luzon, dito sa may bandang Bicol region inaasahan natin na maulap — may mga kalat kalat na mahinang pag ulan dahil nga sa amihan,” said Pagasa Asst. Weather Services chief Chris Perez.
(In Luzon, we expect the northeastern monsoon to prevail, here in the eastern part of Northern and Central Luzon. In the Bicol region we expect it to be cloudy with scattered light rains because of the northeastern monsoon.)
The rest of Luzon, on the other hand, will experience generally fair weather with chances of isolated rain, especially in the afternoon and evening.
Meanwhile, the shear line will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain to parts of the Visayas and Mindanao, particularly Southern Leyte, Northern Mindanao, and the Caraga and Davao regions.
