LUCENA CITY — Three suspected drug pushers yielded “shabu” (crystal meth) and firearms when they were arrested on Friday, Jan. 19, in buy-bust operations in Quezon province.
In a report Saturday, the Quezon police said anti-illegal drug operatives in this city nabbed two alleged shabu peddlers identified by their aliases as “Fidel” and “Michael” in Barangay (village) Ibabang Iyam around 11:58 p.m.
The two yielded P49,572 worth of shabu. Michael was also found carrying an undocumented caliber .38 revolver with three bullets.
In Sariaya town, police officers arrested “Wilmer” at 4:45 a.m. after he sold shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Manggalang Tulo–Tulo.

The law enforcers confiscated the suspect’s caliber .45 pistol loaded with six bullets without a government permit and shabu worth P26,520.

All suspects are under police custody and face a complaint of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of firearms.
