DOH opens of Imus Super Health Center in Cavite
MANILA, Philippines — The (DOH) has opened the Imus Super Health Center in Cavite, which offers various services for city residents.
In a statement on Monday, the DOH said Secretary Teodoro Herbosa and city officials led the recent blessing and inauguration of the health center in Carsadang Bago 1.
The center offers x-rays, an accessible animal bite clinic, dental services, laboratory services, a pharmacy, immunizations, family planning, and reproductive and wellness services.
“We look at Imus, Cavite, as one of our most advanced LGUs in UHC [universal health care] implementation and to take a more proactive role in implementing the department’s initiatives as we envision UHC,” Herbosa said.
“The DOH is always ready to extend our support and provide technical assistance to Imus, Cavite. This event also symbolizes a ‘TED’ to community health, as my nickname stands for ‘Tamang pagkain, Ehersisyo, at Disiplina sa katawan’,” he added.
