MANILA, Philippines — Approximately 80,000 Zambaleños are set to receive over P500 million in cash aid, livelihood packages, scholarships, and various government services from  the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) this weekend.

Speaker Martin G. Romualdez, representing President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. at the fair’s opening at the Botolan People’s Plaza, emphasized the administration’s commitment to delivering uninterrupted public services.

“Ipapaabot natin ang pagmamahal ng ating Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa mga Zambaleños sa pamamagitan ng Serbisyo Caravan na ito,” said Romualdez.

The BPSF, a flagship project of Marcos and currently in its 10th edition, is part of a broader effort to reach all 82 provinces in the country.

The event in Zambales is hosted by known local figures, including Rep. Doris “Nanay Bing” E. Maniquiz, Gov. Hermogenes “Jun” Edejer Ebdane Jr., and Mayor Jun Omar Ebdane of Botolan.

With the participation of 46 national government agencies, the fair offers more than 170 services. This includes a significant P154 million in cash assistance and a province-wide distribution of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations, expected to benefit over 26,000 individuals with P52 million.

In addition to financial aid, the event features various scholarship programs by CHED and livelihood assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment. The weekend is also marked by the Pasasalamat Concert at the Zambales Sports Complex in Iba, expected to draw a crowd of 35,000 people.
