Sen. Raffy Tulfo urges GAB to probe game-fixing using intelligence funds

MANILA, Philippines — The Games and Amusement Board (GAB) should use its confidential funds to investigate incidents of game-fixing, Sen. Raffy Tulfo suggested during a joint Senate hearing of the sports committee along with the games and amusement committee on Wednesday.

“You have a confidential fund, use it,” Tulfo told GAB chief Richard Clain in Filipino.

According to Clarin, GAB has a P4 million confidential fund.

“It’s small, but it’s there. Use it,” Tulfo said.

In the same hearing, Clarin said , which refers to the act of playing or officiating a game to achieve a predetermined result.
