Angara plans to bring Cha-cha public hearings in Visayas, Mindanao
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Sonny Angara said the upper chamber is planning to hold public hearings on economic provisions amendments outside Metro Manila to ensure broader participation and representation in the ongoing debates.
In a statement issued Tuesday, Angara said the potential locations for these hearings are Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Iloilo, or Bacolod.
“Maganda ito para sa ating mga kababayan dahil naririnig nila ang mga argumento, makapag-isip din sila at sana mag-debate din sila among themselves kung ano ang tama,” said Angara in a statement.
(This will be good for our countrymen because they will hear the arguments, and they will be able to think and debate which one’s right among themselves.)
