MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in a residential area in Santa Cruz, Manila on Wednesday morning, engulfing several houses made of light materials.
According to the volunteer group, , the fire erupted at around 11 a.m at the corner of Alonzo Fugoso streets.

The fire was raised to the third alarm at 11:30 a.m., the (BFP) said.
A total of 12 fire trucks arrived at the scene to extinguish the blaze, the BFP reported.
The fire was eventually declared under control at 12:04 p.m., it added.
As of posting time, firefighters are yet to extinguish the fire.
The bureau has yet to determine if any resident was injured due to the incident.
