Suroy issuie bites Naia, Miaa vows action

MANILA, Philippines —  The Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) has ordered the inspection and enhanced sanitation measures at the Terminals 2 and 3 amid reports that bed bugs, locally known as “surot” have bitten some passengers.

The agency was referring to two Facebook posts alleging that the terminals’ steel and rattan chairs harbored “surot” or bed bugs.
