MANILA, Philippines鈥擜 bomb threat, allegedly made by a member of the Palestinian militant group Hamas, disrupted classes at the Samuel Christian College in General Trias City, Cavite, on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
In a report on Thursday, General Trias City Police Station said the school administrator, Jerickson Carandang Bautista, personally appeared before them to report the bomb scare.

Citing Bautista, police said the school office, located in Barangay Navarro, received an email with a message from Adam Cohem claiming to be a 鈥淗amas member.鈥
The message said bombs were placed all over the district and would explode today (March 21).
To ensure the safety of students and school staff, police said the school suspended classes on Wednesday.
Authorities have already coordinated with the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Group of the Cavite Police Provincial Office and the Bureau of Fire Protection within the city and formed a rescue team.
