Easterlies to bring rain in parts of Mindanao on Saturday — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The easterlies will bring overcast skies and rain over parts of Mindanao on Saturday, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“Sa may Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu at Tawi-Tawi, asahan natin na makakaranas sila ng mauulap na papawirin na may mga kalat kalat na pagulan dulot nitong easterlies,” said weather forecaster Chenel Dominguez.

(In the areas near Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, we can expect them to experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers brought about by the easterlies.)

Meanwhile, the rest of the country including Luzon, Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao will experience generally fair weather, with hot and humid temperatures.

  • Metro Manila: 24 to 34 degrees Celsius
  • Baguio City: 17 to 26 degrees Celsius
  • Laoag City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Tuguegarao: 25 to 37 degrees Celsius
  • Legazpi City: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Puerto Princesa City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Tagaytay: 22 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Kalayaan Islands: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Iloilo City: 27 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Cebu: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Tacloban City: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Cagayan De Oro City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Zamboanga City: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Davao City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
